A graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University, Diane M. Cockburn, earned her master’s in nursing physiology/oncology from the University of California, San Francisco. She also completed a post-master’s certificate in adult nurse practitioner at Oregon Heath & Science University in Portland. She has earned several professional certifications including: nurse practitioner, cancer chemotherapy provider and advanced oncology certified nurse. She began her nursing career as a charge nurse in a medical oncology unit and has been providing direct care to cancer and hospice patients for more than 20 years.
